Then you should definetly Try some beta blockers? They are blocking sympaticum, and Try some deep breathing too to activate parasympaticum

Hi carrieblevins1998, For the majority of anxious people, it is quite common for anxiety to be higher in the morning due to the highest levels of adrenaline for the day. It starts early morning and slowly winds down as the day and evening go on. With this rush of adrenaline upon awakening comes a rise in your blood pressure and heart rate. When you get scared it only chooses to bring the pressure up higher and then you've completed a circle of fear.

What I use upon awakening every morning is listening to a relaxation/imagery tape on my headphones while I deep breathe away the adrenaline. It's not a one time thing. It must be done every day before your mind and body look forward to this peace and calm and not focus on the negatives of the day or your fear of b/p rising along with heart rate.

Deep breathing allows your body to prepare for the day in a more positive manner. Calmly :) Of course because we are not doctors, it is always a wise choice to be checked by one. I understand your insurance issue. Just be aware that we go by our own experiences with anxiety. Breathe xx

I'm so glad. Believing that you are okay and that you are safe can do a lot in bringing those high numbers down with your pressure. xx

you still very young. stop worrying about it :) tell yourself that you are fine.

i know it's easy to say but hard to overcome.i also had various of anxiety symptoms for almost a year, scared that something bad might happen to me.almost everyday i feel lightheaded, fast heart rate etc. all i can do is to accept it.always telling myself that "don't worry im okay."

some days are better than others.

the only medicine for this is yourself. do exercise everyday, eat healthy foods, hang out with friends, forget about negative thoughts and enjoy life!

Hi, I’m Dee . I myself have high blood pressure too and as usual it came from my anxiety. Anyway, do u have a BP machine? You should get one cause once you were diagnosed having high blood pressure you will need to track on your reading of your BP. If you know how to read your BP it’s really good cause you know how to deal with it right? But if you don’t let me allow myself to help you lower your high blood pressure.. I hope your not adding too many salt on your food , cause that is one of the reason why our blood goes up. Too much consuming of salt, and I bet you started drinking meds for that right? Once you started the meds you can’t just stop it. Cause it will messed up your blood circulation. You mentioned that you don’t have an insurance? If your family or yourself have low income don’t hesitate to get assistance from social welfare ok. Because it can help you a lot plus you need it for your meds. If you decided not to take any meds it’s too risky for you cause you might get a stroke or heart attack. Not trying to scare you but that’s the truth. How high your BP daily do you know? You don’t have to worry if it is 139/90, that’s only hypertension . You need to relax yourself and you’ll see it will go back again to it’s regular reading. I experienced the same thing . If you don’t have meds and it strike higher and you feel dizzy, just get a lemon and sip it but not much then your blood pressure will go down . And if there are days that your blood pressure goes down. Start moving around make yourself busy so that you don’t feel week ok. Alright, that is the advice I can give you for now and hopefully you will get use to of dealing your blood pressure. Start by changing diet, eliminate any types of sweet drinks ANYTYPE OK!! Only water and 8 glass a day. Start with that and put worries on the side . Anxiety cannot stop us neither high blood pressure enjoying our lives right. I wish you luck . God Bless⛑
