You’re not alone!! I get those weird thoughts too! Have you tried mindfulness? Do some research of the benefits it’s helped me wonders with my thoughts! Headspace app is great

You have a Magnesium deficiency, it causes racing thoughts. A cheap simple magnesium oil will help you out big time.
When my mind races, I color. I know that sounds so preschooler, but it works for me and slowly I start to just think about one thing at a time.
That’s a typical symptom of anxiety. Try and keep your mind busy with work or a hobby. Are you taking anti anxiety meds? If not you should talk with you GP about getting some. Your ok like I said it’s very common.
I know how you feel. You just have that other voice in your head that never seems to shut up. You're not insane but at the same time, no one is ever really sane... So its ok to be a little insane (if u want to look at it that way)... And there is nothing wrong with you, I'm sure you are a perfect maybe even a little dented human being. (I'm not even sure if that made any sense) But you're not alone. And I and everyone here is here for you.

You said before that you like writing stories, so you've probably got the blessing and the curse of imagination—like me. I've found that people who don't have imagination sometimes get jealous, but the stories I come up with aren't always very nice. Sometimes they are about getting cancer, or being punished by the universe for forgetting to do some OCD ritual.
One thing is for sure, though, imagination is not insanity.
Happy New Year!
Nothing is wrong with you! Is with anxiety tend to harp on the things that scare us most or things that disturb us. These thoughts are not at all a reflection of who you are and what u want to do. Please try and tell urself that it is just a thought and not real and although we cannot chose what comes into our mind we have the power to overcome and understand we will never act on these thoughts
First Of All. Calm Down. Everybody On Earth Gets "Intrusive Thoughts" They'd Never Speak Of Because They Can't Believe Something Like That Crossed Their Minds !* It's Just Harder On Us With A Anxiety Disorder Because THAT Disorder INCREASES The Intensity Of That Which Is Normal.
Our Biggest Problem With Intrusive Thoughts Is Fearing Them. Fearing Them Triggers More. We Don't Wanna Get OCD About It. Thats Another Reason We With Anxiety Disorders Need The Meds. Not Because We Are Weak, But Because We Have Chemical Imbalances & Adrenaline Dumps. [ you are no different than people that are diabetics or people with asthma . it's just happening in a different part of the body with different symptoms ]
The Good News ? You Are NOT Crazy & Insane. People Who Have A "Seared Conscious" Are The Dangerous People. You Obviously Have A Conscious Because " It Bothers You".
People That Are Insane Don't Sit Around Worrying About Being Insane. They Simple Are. Many Seem Soulless. They Walk Around "Acting" Like Everything's Fine But They Never Cry Out Like YOU Just Did. You ARE NOT Insane & Crazy.
It Frightens Us When Our Minds Start Racing Because We Feel Outa Control. That Is A Part Of Anxiety Disorders. The Intrusive Thoughts Kick In From Fear. Why ? We Live In A World That Has Good & Evil & OUR Minds Record Everything. Unfortunately The Bad Too. You Are Not ABNORMAL. [ if ya think about it ? unreasonable fear is mankind's biggest enemy ].
Go To The Doc, [ that's why we have them ] & Ask Them To Help You With The OCD Aspect Of The Vicious Circle Of Fear.
Remember. Your Condition Is No Different Than People With Physical Conditions. Yours Is Just As Physical & Just As Real....
