If I hold my arms out in front on me at shoulder level my hands and fingers tremble. Does anyone know if this is a symptom of Parkinson's ?

My grandmother had this problem and it was because of her thyroid levels. However, I don't know a lot about it or Parkinson's either so its probably worth going to the doctor for a check up.

Thanks, I have underactive thyroid but being treated with thyroxin, tested recently and told all is well with thyroid. I think ot's more to do with overactive . Will go to dr's in the new year anyway it it's still bothersome. I am a worrier and tend to think the worst!

I know how you feel! I have terrible health anxiety but try to look at things rationally, even if I have to talk out loud to myself! Hope all goes well
