what can cause under you're right feet to be hot

Did they just feel hot? Were they red?? I've had this happen a few times recently, feel really hot, very painful, they are bright red and it kinda spreads to toes, tops of feet and ankles.

Gout,water retention or even a bacterial infection. Of course you can all so make sure your feet are not on your hot water bottle or too close to the fire, and please remember that "Firewalking" can give the same sensations!! Ok now the serious answer, have you changed your shower gel brand or washing machine powder or fabric fresheners? They are normally the cause. As with every ailment if it's causing pain or it's worrying you,then you must see your GP or practice nurse. All the best Derek
