Little introduction

Hi I just became a member and I wanted to introduce myself a little bit.

I'm Olaf and live in Holland.

After college I started to get really bad social anxiety that even developed into agoraphobia.

At this time I started to see a psychologist and I got diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder which causes my anxiety. I've been working hard to get my life back, it's been a long road but I'm slowly getting my life back together.

So I'm looking forward to get to know more people who've gone through the same things as I did

Hi Olaf_uff ... Welcome! I was Agoraphobic for a time. The key word here is "Was". With time and professional help, we can once again go forward. You are not alone in this

journey. Stay positive as we walk this journey together. :)

You're never alone Olaf. It always amazes me in how many people around the world are going through the same thing but the only thing we see are the "so called normal people around us". It's going to be okay as we help each other :)

Hoi Olaf!

You are not alone - I am for Sydney Australia and I experience intense anxiety and am agoraphobic too. I downloaded a app called “calm” and I listen to meditation before bed or when I’m anxious. Also, lavender oil in a diffuser at night helps to relax :)

kamanda, meditation is as much a part of my day as breathing.

I haven't tried the lavender oil yet. Thanks for sharing :) xx
