Hi , I’m curious to know who has taken Zoloft and switched to Effexor ? Any positive stories ?

I’ve discontinued Zoloft because of weight changes and resistance to any efforts, loss of libido and Zoloft didn’t help anymore . I didn’t want to increase nor did I i want to try another one but I found Effexor SNRI and went for it . 3rd day on it but would love to hear others positive experience.

All I’ve heard and read are bad ones and quite frankly, I really don’t want to read them anymore . They all say the same about the withdrawal. Don’t want or offend anyone . 😉

Hello Lajefa85,

Well I was on Effexor for 14 years and got on really well with them.

I changed to Sertraline which is a generic of Zoloft because the Effexor stopped working and tapered off slowly and on to Sertraline quite easily.

Just remember everyone has different reactions to certain medication but I can only speak for myself.

Good luck 🤞
