Hi Den64, your new medication is only 16 days in and not quite enough time to relieve you of your anxiety symptoms. Needs a little more time. However, the dryness that you are experiencing is more likely from the medication than anxiety. I have dry eyes, mouth and throat as well from the SSRI that I am on. Plus the fact that when anxious we tend to mouth breathe drying the passages even more. For reassurance, always check with your doctor. He knows your health history and how your body may react.

Hydrating is important when on these medications but even that doesn't seem like enough at times. Your doctor will advise you of some OTC products that may help reverse some of that dryness. xx

Hey, you’re okay! It’s all anxiety, trust me... Anxiety causes weird symptoms, I used to experience all of these and still do. They are panic attacks... This is what I did to help me: first I went to the doctor to get reassurance (you need to trust your doctor, even though they feel like they are missing something), see a therapist of you have to, meditate for 10 mins (mornings and nights), journaling, drinking lots of water, eating healthy, taking a multivitamin, stop using social media, exercising, going outside, and getting plenty of sleep at night. I know you might be afraid to workout because you might think that you’re going to have a heart attack, but you won’t. I thought that every day was my last when I had anxiety, but I’m a whole lot better now. You’re not alone through this! It gets better. Keep fighting!
