Night Anxiety
Are you getting enough Vitamin D. This is not just from your foods, but actual sunshine. It's all so strange sounding I know. I grew up here in Oz where the Slip, Slop, Slap ads were always saying to stay out of the sun and to slap on sunscreen. We now face an epidemic of people not having enough Vitamin D. I am one of those, and blood tests confirmed that I was very low when it came to my Vitamin D count. I am on supplements, and try to get fresh air and sunshine in small bursts, and at least it's better than my total avoidance of the sun. You just can't win any more. The same form of vitamin D that’s obtained through sunlight Scientists have found that people with low vit D are 11 times more prone to be depressed than those who had normal levels. It seems to make sense that you are ok during the day, with daylight around you and because maybe you don't absorb enough Vit D during the day, it isn't enough to sustain you during the evening. ?
What do you think about getting your levels checked ?
I am the opposite...My anxiety is through the roof in the mornings as I wake up and again when I go out in the afternoon it spikes.... the only time I settle is the evenings …..strange how it affects us...
I was wondering why mine seems to get better in the evenings. I wish mine was better during the day so that I could work more.
Yes it sure is
My anxiety is often more noticeable at night. I think it is because the events of the day catch up to me, well that and I have all this stuff that I need to get done before bedtime.
I think that's true..I just feel overwhelned at the end of the day, worrying about things that I didn't get done.
