One could say anxiety is a very normal thing to have — millions of people have it all the time.

It’s better to accept the symptoms for what they are and accept that they will pass.

If things get too tough you always have this forum full of great people who have experienced this themselves, and if need be therapy.

Best of luck (you got this)

It may not be fair but it is a fact. You say you want to be normal so what is your plan for recovery? May I respectfully ask what you are doing to bring about your return to normality?

I may have suggested this to you before, Lindsey, but if you only read one more book in your whole life that book should be 'Self help for your nerves' by Doctor Claire Weekes. It's the book in which Weekes set down for the first time her Acceptance method for recovery from anxiety disorder in all its forms. It will give you understanding, reassurance and a recovery plan which allows anybody to recover no matter how deeply or how long they have suffered. Although her first book was written over a generation ago, her books have been reader reviewed 1,600 times on amazon.co.uk and amazon.com in recent years and 90% found her method Very Good or Excellent.

It is quite a short book and you will recognise yourself in its pages. You can order the book new or pre-owned on Amazon or pre-owned on Ebay for just a couple of quid/bucks.

I think you will find it life changing.

Hi Lindsey, I know how hard it is but I would like to assure you that you are normal, this happens to us humans (as much as it stinks) just like death happens to all , even to those of us who believe in God. Don't allow that thought anymore to tell you otherwise, if you could reach out to the Lord Jesus he will heal you, this was by far one of the greatest battles of my life and I want to let you know and all who come across this post that i prevailed. There is Hope, you see this poor man cried and the Lord heard him and delivered him from all of his fears Psalms 34, as your heart develops faith your fear will loose it's grip on you, but faith is the answer, faith comes by hearing God's word, then begin to pray and watch what happens...
