I'm gonna go out on a limb here and admit that other that work around the house and yard, I don't exercise although I know I should. Does anyone else feel like a limp noodle if you get out and do something strenuous when you don't normally? I got out yesterday after work and did some pruning, weeding and raking. Also had a couple glasses of wine last night. Woke up this morning feeling like a wet noodle.

Anxiety and exercise
Yes, that happens to me too. If you have done a little more exercise than you are used to, you will feel like this the next day. It is a crummy feeling and the first time it happened to me, I was quite anxious. It should go away by this evening or tomorrow morning. If you skip a day exercising and then do the same thing the next day, it won't happen again. If you do a different type of exercise using different muscles it may occur the next day.
I was just thinking about it and part of it is because I'm really sore from falling at home Sunday too. I was dust mopping our hardwood floors. I sat the mop against a cabinet to put a few things back I'd just moved to mop under. The handle slid over and when I stepped back to grab the mop, I tripped over it backwards and fell flat on my butt, hitting my back on the door knobs on the cabinet on the way down. I couldn't move for a few minutes and I'm very sore and bruised from that as well.
Yes, I understand. I do some ice skating and a bad fall will shake you up and you may even feel a little shaky the next day. As to the wet noodle feeling, what I am taking about is not sore muscles, but a general crummy feeling. My sense (completely unscientific) is that when unused muscles, especially shoulders, suddenly get exercise and contract, they release some pent up " junk" into your system which makes you feel off the next day.
I know what ya mean.. I call mine spaghetti arms .. they get more tired than I think they should! Which other than what u listed above, I don't get any exercise. I used to walk every morning & felt SO much better mentally & physically .. Ive really gotta start that back up!
Sometimes I just flat out do not want or even like exercising. I feel like walking my dogs (which I do everyday ALOT) is a chore. Buuuut.... I do know that it will help me mentally (and physically). So even though sometimes it just flat out sucks and I just wish they would go already I know it's helping me.❤️You were working outside and it's HOT so you could be dehydrated (wine does that too💕). Drink a bunch of water. Good luck!
