Went to hospital and diagnosed with labyrinthitis?????

Ever since I've woke up this morning I've been feeling really lightheaded and giddy when I move certain ways.

I went into the hospital and they did my blood pressure and looked in my ears and oxygen levels and it was all fine, and the doc was quick to say I've got labyrinthitis.

When I first started to feel unbalanced a year ago, I was also first diagnaosed6wigj vertigo and all that stuff, but then was told I didn't have it, and after lots of investigations they put it down to anxiety, but still hair a heart holster fitted for 24 hours this month to check for drop in blood pressure.

Anyway over the last year I've sort of gotten used to and been able to somewhat deal with the off balance swaying feelings.

But when I woke up feeling lightheaded it wasn't like anything I've ever felt.

It was different, so a diagnosis of labyrinthitis like they said right that the start, just seems like I'm back to square one.

Like they don't really want to look into it all.

Could be labs or it could be a vestibular problem, I wasn’t taken seriously for my dizziness etc because of my anxiety so I went privately to ENT and was diagnosed with vestibular hypofunction they can be quite similar x

I've seen an ENT last year and also went to a balance clinic, they couldn't seem to find anything wrong.

That's why I'm sort of angry they're just throwing this diagnosis at me again.

I want to go private because NHS won't get to the bottom of it, but it's so expensive. X

Private is very expensive but I’m glad I did as I had answers pretty quick x

How did they get to the bottom of your dizziness? Did you have to describe how you felt to a GP?

Sorry to all the questions, I just don't know what to do next at this point.

I tried telling a GP for years but they told me it was anxiety , I went and saw a professor at an private hospital instead and got answers basically that day I had an hearing test it was ok and an MRI too.

If I was you I’d save money as and when you can and just do your research and see a private ENT. It’s different privately as you don’t have to plead to be listened too
