Mine finally went away when I was put on a beta blocker. Thank goodness cause that was one of the worse feelings ever. Hope you feel better soon.
Thank you so much for the reply!do you mind me asking what beta blocker you were on?isnt it just the worst feeling in the world!
I'm on 25mg once a day of metropolol (I always spell it wrong lol) But I was stubborn, I was supposed to be on it a few years ago because my heart rate was always 90-120 with me not doing anything, then it just got worse and the adrenaline wouldnt stop, so finally I said the heck with this feeling and started taking it, thank goodness.
I think one of the classic things with anxiety disorders is to be frightened to take the medicine.which seems ridiculous but its a real fear.
How long have you had anxiety for?
I started in my teens, then early 20's it hit me hard with anxiety, depression agoraphobia etc, so was put on paxil for about 8 years. Got off was good for 10 years, then turned 40 this past November and the anxiety hit me again (plus had a crummy year last year) which that all added to it. So now been on 10mg of prozac and 25mg of beta blocker for about 8 months now.
Oh wow.bless you.
Its the worst feeling in the world isnt it.the physical symptoms are so scary and seem to come from no where.
Was awful, think my questions are still up from months ago, I was a mess, literally wanted to jump out of my body and crawl out of my skin, but with help of my dr, family friends and counselor i feel soooooo much better, and you will too
