I often have an over whelming feeling of FEAR wash over me. I describe it as " pretend someone was behind you and sprinkled a watering can of ice cold water over you". I sometimes start to shake. It's an awful feeling in my stomach and I fight to attempt to stay calm. Hang in there.

Yes, when I'm in a "state" my entire body shakes, even my insides I say! When I open my eyes in the morning I start to shake. Right now, of all the medications I take, Ativan (used VERY spareingly is the only source of "calm" if I am lucky.

Yes especially in the morning. Thought I was the only one with this horrible feeling.

Yes, Minnie87. When I first started having anxiety attacks I felt this way. I know how hard it is to describe. I was in the mall and I felt like my body was going to give out on me, that's not totally accurate, but I really think you are having anxiety attacks. Go to the doctor. They won't kill you, but make life miserable.

Hi Minnie, those are adrenaline rushes that you are feeling which start with the stomach and spread symptoms throughout your body. What can help lower and even eliminate

that "surge" feeling is immediately going into deep breathing. It needs to be practiced and then practiced some more. Each and every day especially when you are not experiencing

those uncomfortable feelings. You body eventually adjusts to you responding positively

with deep breathing. You cannot deep breathe properly and experience adrenaline at the

same time. In time, you will actually feel the surge switch off. Doing that and practicing

quiet time as well as hydrating will keep you in a better place, mind and body. xx

Thank you agora.

I honestly think if I could accept all this as anxiety and stress I would be on my way to recovery xxxx💜
