I need help. I'm on day 12 of taking Prozac 20mg. For the past couple of days my anxiety and depression has worsened severely. It comes in waves.....big waves. Besides that I feel heat radiating from my skin. Will this subside? Will it get better? I just started a new job and it's not making things easy.

I can’t say if it will get better. I would contact your doctor, they may need to adjust the amount or change the medications. I was having increased anxiety when i went from 25 to 50 mg of Zoloft. So my doctor took me back down to 25. Good luck, I hope you feel better soon!

I am very sorry to read of the problems you are having. I am just emerging from 5 weeks of depression cuased by incorrectly sef-medicating with the anti-depressant I am on, Sertraline. You probably ought to be signed off work by your doctor, because your energy levels must be very low. It does take 4-5 weeks to get better, so keep hanging on in there. You will recover!! Pearwig.
