I have always been a shy person and have had a hard time starting a conversation with anyone. I also.have a problem carrying on a conversation for very long. My visiting get very awkward two minutes because it is dead silence between me and the people I talk with.
So I combat this by telling jokes, making fun of myself or others as long as they know it's coming. I wouldn't do it intentionally to hurt anyone ( which I haven't) but I am careful that I don't do it to people that I know wouldn't like it. We as people need to learn to laugh at ourselves as we do towards others jokingly. I have anxiety speaking to people and in front of many people. I appreciate the ones that do chat with me one on one here. I love it. If I suddenlynstop chatting its because I ran out of things to say but I try to follow cue to the person I am speaking to and draw off them. Hey everyone have a great nite. I know some of you will be getting up soon and going about your day again. Godspeed.

Laughter indeed is the best medicine. I have on my phone a joking app and sometimes I just open it and laf so bad. With regard to having a problem talking for long hours with people, many of us have that problem but it also depend on the other end. I have friends who don't mind talking for hours and hours and I appreciate that coz I am not like that. If you get a person who is like that, you would have hit a jackpot. Sometimes I just watch peoples comment here and laf at how they respond to one another and I get in the conversation I don't care who it is as long as it fun to do. You are a friendly person as well I have noticed. I will send you jokes as well on ur chats I know you won't mind

Go for it. It won't bother me one bit. I would love humor as when.lm am alone I feel lonely. I need someone to pep me up.In had to laugh at your statement about if you have someone that can talk an hour you hit the jackpot. It's true but I have a couple that drive me up the wall because they won't shut up. That's just their nature. Love them anyways.

My dad was telling mega story today that my mom saw a squirrel eating from the bird feeder. So She took a broom and scared it off. He hasn't seen the squirrel since. This was a funny story to him. The thing I thotnwas funny was my mom running out the door with a broom over her head. She is 77 y/o.
Just read some of your past post. Wow!! I can't imagine at your age. Doctors don't know whats going on? I know I have some phantom diagnosis. Sometimes I don't think they've done enough.Seems like when things or bad days is when I use my humor the most. Use to have People say "oh suck it up" when I complained. So now I just try to hide my pain with making jokes even tho some days are pretty bad. Thanks for responding.
Honestly and it’s just getting worse everyday! I wish the doctors could figure out what on Earth is wrong with me 😂
I understand completely. I hope you are doing well and that this pain soon goes away so we can actually joke around without hiding our pain. Also, whoever said that to you should be ashamed! No one ever complains about pain or difficulties for fun. Cause there really is no fun in these situations at all!
Keep smiling and making jokes! I pray that we are relieved from our sufferings and difficulties ❤️
