I have purchased her book on hope and help for our nerves and have read the first half. I am trying to “float,” but I can’t. I am extremely anxious bc I will be traveling alone to a big city (which I used to do easily) and across the Atlantic later this year. If I can’t stop my feeling anxious with possible panic attacks, how the heck will I react while flying. I can’t stop crying over my issues. And my meds make me more anxious. 😔

You can float ... and you will !
It takes practice and patience.. believe it.. it can happen.. just try and relax to the best of your ability.. Rome wasn’t built in a day 😉
Finish reading the book, then you will know everything you need to know. Floating is just imagining that there is an invisible force helping to propel you through your day, like floating on a cloud.
As 1973m says, with a little more practice, with a little imagination, you will get the hang of floating.
As for your fear of panic attacks and travelling then you overcome these by accepting them for the time being. Anxiety is not life threatening so just accept the symptoms uncomfortable though they may be. Yes even a panic attack you can just accept it and carry on, it will soon pass. The important thing is that accepting and floating stop you generating fear hormone and that's what keeps your nerves sensitised.
So finish reading the book then pravtice accepting and floating and let time pass, let lots of time pass. Keep practicing - if you only manage to glimpse acceptance and floating for a few minutes to begin with then you can build on that.
You can overcome this anxiety completely, you can recover and regain your peace of mind. You are not in danger, evetything is going to be fine.
If you follow her advice you will feel amazing Just float don't fight the feelings let them come wash over you like a wave and go They always go just stop giving them any attention you can do it Keep the faith in her 😊
