Home sick

This might sound dumb, but im away from home but dont feel severe home sickness like i usually do... Like i know im home sick but i dont feel it, i feel numband unreal , could this be my anxiety?

Yes darling it could well be your anxiety. I sometimes get this when I’m away from home. We get used to our comfort zones don’t we?

Try not to think too much about it & go with the feelings, don’t fight them, they will last longer. Anxiety is very uncomfortable but not harmful. Stay rational & try to enjoy your time away. Remember distraction is vital to us as is breathing techniques. I wish you peace xx
