im here for therapy.
Good luck. Your not crazy, don't worry
Johnnie, it seems like you're having an awful lot of issues at that particular office. Maybe try another? Lots of people from all walks of life go to therapy. That doesn't mean they're crazy. It means they're proactive and trying to help themselves and not go through needless suffering. It's so they can have an unbiased ear to listen to them as they get things off their chest that they can't talk to anyone else about. Johnnie, you know you have to do something. The very definition of insanity (crazy) is doing the same thing over and over and expecting things to change. You have to step outside the tiny box you've created for yourself, that's doing nothing but hurting you, or you definitely aren't going to get better. As you've seen in this past year and a half that you've done nothing to help yourself, it's only gotten worse. It will only continue to get worse and worse unless you seek help, period.
they open my case back again they said now i could go see my therapist the 24th of this month they said if need to see her as soon as possible to call again then they will change it for sooner.
With the issues you're having and for as long and as horrible as they've been, don't you think sooner would be a better idea? Sometimes you have to be forceful when it comes to getting the service you need.
i dont want nobody to think im crazy or people around me thats what is the really problem and im afriad of those kind of pills because i dont wanna get worst because the pills treat it for amount of time then when the pills stop working those feelings would hit harder and strong thats what ive heard from other people exprince.
Just because you go to therapy doesn't mean they'll recommend pills. A therapist can't prescribe medicine. Only a psychiatrist can do that. Just be sure to tell your therapist you want to work on your issues without taking medication until it's a last resort.
My experience is that medication has never made my issues worse. I've gone off of them several times and usually go a year or 2 feeling just fine and then I start having problems with depression again and restart medication. It isn't an issue the medication causes, but an issue in chemicals like serotonin in my brain.
Just give your therapist a shot. Call them and tell them you need in ASAP because you've suffered long enough and you need to learn some coping skills so you can get your life back. There's nothing wrong with trying that without medication and seeing how you go.
also i start a new job tommarow . but they way im feeling i dont even know.
Curious to know what Jeff and Agora think they have given the most wonderful advice to 1234 to no avail. Another excuse? Or are we all codependent?
if you gonna come with the negativeity then dont responde to it
Great 1234 are you coming around? I hope so this text sounds promising not jumbled. Good news everyone’s in your corner go for the job go to the next therapy appointment and I really wish you luck no negativity
You will be good Johnnie work at please don’t bewallowing in pity. All of us have been there keep looking upward and going forward good things will happen
You are ill you need a full blood work up along with hormonal testing, a good therapist would send you for numerous tests and then consult with a Doctor if you need to be on meds because the therapist cannot prescribe medication. Make sure you get there on the 23rd
Lm92 is giving you sound advice. First, you not anyone on here is not crazy. We are all being proactive in seeking help.
Second, I always kept my " mental problems" under wraps until recently. I had to explain my behavior a few times and people opened up. Suddenly I realized EVERYONE has some mental disorder or another. No one is perfect. And, that I dont have mental PROBLEMS, I have a mental HEALTH issue. Think of mental health this way, it is the same as diabetes. Both you can survive with no meds or treatment, however you will get sick down the road. You may have to go on or off meds depending on how we'll you are controlling either disease. You can live without meds and be healthy if you follow dr.s orders and live certain ways of life. Those ways may include therapy, visiting for Dr etc.
