You need something to occupy your mind. Find a hobby.

What is something you love to do?

Hopefully your therapist will suggest some things to you Thursday

1234 The other day you said at one point you had a bad reaction to weed. Have you ever taken any other drugs weed or otherwise that might have been laced with something and you would never know until you get these horrible feelings. I really wish you well if you have a good therapist he or she will get to the bottom of your problem. Be truthful and you will succeed. Much Luck

Johnnie1234 profile image
Johnnie1234 in reply toMaagaa

it was only weed thats all nothing else but that happen a year and half ago ever sense thats how i felt

Maagaa profile image
Maagaa

Are you in the US if so you would be seen by a drug counselor who was very aware of the feelings happening after your weed experience and more than likely you would have been examined head to toe. Brain scan EKG to see why your heart is racing blood to see what your chemical imbalance is. Hormones can be checked. It’s like a tune up on a car. Why hasn’t anyone seen through this dilemma with the proper diagnosis you can feel like the old Johnnie again

Johnnie1234 profile image

i dont think they do that here i dont know but right now i woke up tearing up and down and all the negative thinking i been having its driving me nuts i dont wanna go crazy

Did you say you are seeing a therapistThursday? He or she shoud pickup on how desperately you need help. I hope your Mom or girlfriend will accompany you to this therapist and have there own set of questions written down to ask they both must see the pain you are experiencing. Hope all goes well with your visit just be truthful and open about when and what happened after your bad weed experience. I have a strong suspicion your feelings came from an adverse reaction to the weed

yeah will i get better though ?

Johnnie1234 grab a notebook and pen and start writing down everything that comes to mind. It doesn't have to make sense or be a story, just your thoughts at the moment. Sometimes getting that all out, something will click. It did with me.

Johnnie1234 profile image
Johnnie1234 in reply to1OshunDreamer

you experinced what i been going through ?

1OshunDreamer profile image
1OshunDreamer in reply toJohnnie1234

Absolutely. It feels like your brain is a tangled ball of strings. You want it to untangle somehow so you can get the strings layed out straight so you can put them in order. I would even have thoughts of suicide but never would do that, it was just all so much.

You will get better when you get that diagnosis. The doctor and therapist will now which path to guide you on. Not saying you won't ever stumble or be back where you are now. However, if you do, you'll know how to cope better.

i want to get better already

1OshunDreamer profile image
1OshunDreamer in reply toJohnnie1234

I know but it takes time. That's why I'm suggesting you start writing your thoughts down now. Many times, it helps right away. These are your thoughts. You don't have to share them or even re-read them. Be co burn them afterwards if it you want. Just get the thoughts out now.

have you take any meds and how you feel now and how long it took you tomget better ?

1OshunDreamer profile image
1OshunDreamer in reply toJohnnie1234

Yes, I take anti-anxiety meds and later depression meds. They work most if the time. However, when my load gets too heavy I slip back under. I'm actually having issues I'm working through right now. I may need to temporarily add something. That happens on occasion.

I think it took about 6 weeks or so to get me regulated. But, I did have the lowest dose Prozac to get me through that time period. Prozac is addictive so I only took it when I couldn't get out of bed or I had an anxiety attack.

Johnnie1234 in reply to1OshunDreamer

do they have meds for anxiety and those thoughts i been having?

1OshunDreamer profile image
1OshunDreamer in reply toJohnnie1234

Yes, and they will help. Some meds don't work the first time for some folks and you may have to try a few to get there. If, the doctors say it's ok, you may need them temporarily just to get through these feelings and figure out how to manage them. you will see, someday management will be the key.

1234 Stop questioning will I get better? Your brain is working in overdrive. Be positive you will get progress but you have to get into a mode of positivity. Girlfriend and Mom have to help you everyday. Do you work? If not go for a walk paint a room write a letter but keep busy until Thurs. Keep us posted when you get home. Everyone wishing you the best and good thoughts and vibes coming your way

1234 you asked 10 shun about medications It sounds as if you are looking for medications. Has me hard at thought wondering if you might be withdrawing from one thing or another, you mentioned weed but said you only smoked once. I’m not being judge mental but your thoughts are all over the place and you can’t control the thoughts you have from the moment you open your eyes. Hope Mom and girlfriend are not enablers. I’m praying so hard for your recovery. Please post on Thurs we are all wishing you well not judging.

Johnnie1234 in reply toMaagaa

Im just trying to find out if medications works thats all and i smoked weed for three years was just that one day that messed me up and made me have a panic attack then all the sympthoms came out of no where and now those thoughts and negative thinking just started i had the panic attack and anxiety with physical sympthoms for a year and half . the negative thoughts and those type of thought came about a week ago something i didnt have at all.

Oh my dear Johnnie has anyone ever told you that the buildup of toxins in the brain can be devastating. Willie Nelson claims weed never had a negative effect on him and he’s a shining example that weed doesn’t hurt you. That one time I think had something added to the weed and you got it. Marijuana is legal in a lot of states but is well monitored by the FDA. Curious to find out how you do on Thurs

Johnnie1234 profile image
Johnnie1234 in reply toMaagaa

i had a strong strain of weed and hopefully i get better because im a bit nervous of whats been going on with me i coukd careless about the sympthoms of anxiety i could handle that but the negative bad thoughts i dont know about that i been holding it in .
