Raging blood pressure

Does anyone else have really high blood pressure when they have a panic attack along with the fast heart rate and palpations?

I have. i even thought it was a heart attack. Bp went up to 160 over 130

Mine was like 180 over 130. So now I get even more scared when I feel one coming on.

yes my Doctor prescribed a pill he prescribes to patients that get Anxiety before a big Speech only take as needed up to 3x a day

Yes I suffered a lot with this. So much so I had to eventually have medication to keep it from being too high..I take ramapril and my blood pressure is now regular...and bisoprolol for the palpitations..

My dr doubled my blood pressure meds Friday cause mine was so high when I went in.

I guess I’m luxky, mine has been regulated since taking meds..

Yes, mine skyrockets! It can be perfectly normal at home and when I get to the doctor's office and hear the blood pressure cuff starting to hum I panic! So then they put me on blood pressure meds that make me so weak and tired I can't even walk. It's because I don't really need them I need to stop my anxiety!

I get it. The blood pressure cuff being put on is a sure fire way to skyrocketing blood pressure...Fear of the Dr is a real condition known as white coat syndrome. You are not alone!

Yes I know I tell them I have horrible white coat syndrome and they just write a prescription for more and more blood pressure meds. Some of the medication itself has almost killed me
