Hello,

I'm 26 years old male, my names donovan, I have suffered from anxiety since I was 17. I haven't had any problems in 2017 I felt like a normal regular person. On March 9th this year while I was skating I had some flutters in my chest I had to cough alot to make them go away, I got really anxious and had a panic attack for the first time in years. I convinced myself I had heart problems so I went to my family doctor and he said it sounded a little irregular and set me up with a heart doctor, for a month I was under immense stress worrying about my heart, they ran all of their test on me and found nothing wrong, said I have a strong healthy heart heck my resting heart rate gets down to 38 sometimes. I still get these weird like muscle twitch flutters in my sternum, they don't heart but it worries me, I have gerd so hopefully that's all that is. Now ever since the panic attack, I have felt immensely dizzy or light-headed idk how to describe it, all day, but worst when I'm at work. When I exercise I freak out really bad feeling my heart beat hard it scares the day lights out of me. I've been on so many anti depressant in the last three months and nothing's working, currently I am on Wellbutrin 150mg and Xanax 0.25mg twice a day and it doesn't feel like it's working. Anyone else have these problems, my mind can't help to think the heart doctor missed something.

Go get a second opinion.

You sure it's not palpitations you are getting ?

Are you on medication ?

Maybe it needs changing ?

Join a gym....they will assess your heart before starting a program.

It could be palpitations, but I'm uncertain, when it happens I check my pulse, my heart is beating normal but my esophagus feels like it's twitching or moving around. I can skate for hours still as long as I don't focus on my heart rate which is hard. Also seeing a new psych Monday, hopefully change what I'm on cause it is not working for me.

Me right now. I' am suffering from brain fog, dizziness, lightheaded. It's so annoying.

I hate those feelings, I end up convincing myself something is very wrong and start making everything worse.

Hey, Donovan I just came across your post. You are feeling this way because you are over stressing your mind, remember our mind is the most powerful tool in the world it can work against us or with us. I am sure you are going to be fine and if you need a second opinion with regard to your heart see another specialist, that will ease your mind. In terms of the medication you are taking they are only covering the issue. Confront the problem and remember you are stronger than the thoughts that clutter your mind, at the end you are in control! Realize that and embrace it!. When you feel the anxiety come say to yourself I know it’s you anxiety you don’t own me and you never will. Step on it and face th fact that nothing is going to happen you are ok life is beautiful remember the people that love you and count your blessings.

I have been struggling with severe anxiety and i get paralyzed and scared, I have been doing much better and I don’t take absolutely any medication other than CBD and homeopathic remedies and they help me a lot. What I realized is that sometimes even if you take the strongest pill in the world you won’t feel like is doing anything, because it is all being created in your head you either make it bigger or smaller. You can control your thoughts you are capable of getting trough anything with faith and consistency, sometimes it feels like you are in a black whole but at the end no one can save you but yourself realizing this gives you two options either you go completely bunkers or you step on it like a soldier and do not allow it to defeat you!!!
