Hi I took them for 4 months. I ended up a lot worse on them. I couldn’t get focused on them at all. I felt like a zombie every day. Not sure why you’ve tightness in your back. I found my arms tingled a lot xx

I lasted one tablet of that and symptoms were too much I swapped to duloxetine and diazepam which was much better :)

I took these for at least a year on 50mg but they weren’t strong enough anymore. If I think regardless of which medication you’re on you should go back to your GP and explain the problem as they may just not be compatible with you. What works for one person won’t always work for another. Hope they can help!

I switched to Citalopram because I thought they might give me fewer ED problems. I had no side effects, but the ED was no better and I started getting a fat tummy so I have switched back to Sertraline. Hopefully there are enough anti-depressants available for everyone to find one that works for them.

I was fine on Citalopram a few years ago (I'm on Amitriptyline at the moment for Emetophobia - it's just to calm the anxiety around it) so they suited me but what suits one doesn't always suit another. A few years ago I took a herbal remedy (St John's Wort) and they worked really well apart from I had a side effect which was (both oral or topical) the increase of the sensitivity of my eyes to sunlight - here is a link to a website on side effects:verywellmind.com/st-johns-w.... It may sound like a lot of side effects but it's certainly worth looking in to and of course checking with your GP if you are allowed to take them as they can interact with other medications.

There are many other drugs out there that your doctor could try with you but I certainly would go back to him/her and say what is happening.

Very best to you.
