The you that you are now sucks! The you that is writing this to the other you that you will be later is having so much anxiety. It is a common thing. I am not common. I will get better. Maybe I won't. I don't need medication. Where is the klonopin? The cycle continues.

Hi RobertShawn, I had to read your post a couple times. Interesting thoughts but I so understand. There seems to be a little tug of war going on in your mind. Keep to the positive way of thinking, it will get you further. You WILL get better. You are NOT common and won't tolerate this nonsense called Anxiety. We can never say "we don't need medication". Sometimes meds for a little while along with therapy can open up some doors for you in seeing and accepting anxiety. Klonopin (a Benzo) is an antianxiety medication in taking for a short time can lower your anxious thoughts and symptoms. The cycle cannot be made to continue. This is where we end up getting stuck in the same old, same old.
The cycle needs to be broken and medication/therapy is a start. I welcome you to the support group, we are here to help each other, to understand and to care. Stay positive, this too shall pass in time. Anxiety does not have to be a "lifetime sentence".
Awww sorry about that Shawn...What's happening more recently? Does your doctor want you to try Klonopin? It's a good drug. Not a magic key but you have to start somewhere. Talk to us...we always have new people with new ideas on the forum. Glad to see you back.
Happy to hear that. It's okay to have something to reach for just in case the moment gets too intense Continue using the tools you have as well. Meditation and deep breathing have been keeping me afloat. We live and we learn through our experiences in life.
Good Morning Shawn....Ahhh the light bulb went off in my head while watching tv last night. I had been asking myself all day, why did the writing of your post sound so familiar Only one person that I know on the forum who always has captured my attention and made me think so deeply about life.
That is good I suppose...perhaps it is bad that so many can relate. In the end, we are here for a short period of time and in the end, when that comes....we will think of how quickly it all went...ask for a refund, a reset...a new game\
