Like I was fine and all of a sudden I randomly feel like something's wrong like panic. I'm on medicine too and I accept my anxiety but was just curious if anyone else feels this way ever

I get this a lot - just sudden bouts of anxiety and it's come from nowhere. Have you talked to your doctor about it?

jtsh1995, it is very common to experience sudden bouts of anxiety that seem to come from nowhere, when we are constantly stressed out to the max. Our adrenaline never really has a change to completely dissipate and so we go into what is called "free floating anxiety". Waves of anxiousness and panic that may seem to come from nowhere are really a continuation of the day's overwhelming stress.

Finding tools that work for you through relaxation and deep breathing can help immensely in clearing your mind and body of the chronic adrenaline. Our body needs a respite from anxiety even in as little as 10-15 minutes a day can help quiet you down. I find for myself that doing a meditation in the afternoon, before bed and upon awakening can help balance our emotions out for the day. Breathe in peace and exhale stress. :)

I'm currently looking into mindfulness but not sure it will work seeing as I have mega ADHD and sitting "still and quietly" doesn't come very easily!

I think relaxation for some is a great tool to combat anxiety/stress, but for others it's limited in its usefulness based on co-morbidities that reduce the therapeutic effect of relaxation.

Luckily for everyone, there are plenty of ways to reduce anxiety - it's just finding the right one for you specifically. :)

Jmerrick22, the same explanation that I wrote jtsch1995 applies to any of else when anxiety seems to come from nowhere, whether on medication or not. Meds are not a magic pill but just a life line that helps us get through hard times. It's the tools we have to use on a daily basis that will enhance the medication. Therapy is just one method. There is so much out there to pick and choose from. For me, it's deep breathing :) Feel better, nothing is wrong except your anxious thoughts taking over.
