Does anyone ever feel like their head and body feels tense while walking around? Almost feels wobbly. Not like you are going to pass out or nothing that hurts. Just funny sensation in back of head and sometimes it feels like my head feels not empty but just weird. Any advice would help. I’ve been stressed for the past month and a half btw. And this is a new symptom. I feel like this started after getting blood checked because I felt like the girl that took my blood seemed a bit new and i kept wondering if she got it from my actual vein

Head sensation/tense body
Hi Robby36, that is a very common sensation when chronically stressed out. Physically, the neck muscles tense up so tight making our heads feel like a "bobble head" (tense and spacy) I can only guess that your shoulders are tense as well as you bring them up further and further to your ears. Once we put a doubtful, negative thought in our minds, it continues to play over and over causing the body to not relax.
Start doing some relaxation methods in calming your mind/body every day. Find a time when you can escape to a safe moment alone, your "me time". Remove the negative thoughts of the day, should they pop up, push them aside and continue on with your relaxation. It takes a little practice.
Go to YouTube, sit in a comfortable chair, lights low, pillow behind your back,,eyes closed as you listen to the soothing voice of The Honest Guys. A 5 minute audio video called Meditation with Guiding Voices. Start with getting use to sitting still with an open mind to the suggestions you are given. Breathe deeply, exhaling slowing. As you exhale relax your shoulders and breathe out your fears and anxiety. From there you can find other videos that can take you far away mentally.
Know that you are safe, nothing is going to happen and that you just need to let go and breathe.
I will add one more thing and that is hydration being so important in getting rid of that bobble head feeling. Drinking water is important for the body to function properly. Breathe
Thank you very much for your well informed message 🙂 I really really appreciate it. I definitely have been letting stress get the best of me and I am usually a pretty good handler against anxiety. But it has been throwing me curveballs. I forgot to add but is random heaviness throughout diffferent parts of the body a piece of stress/anxiety?
It can be very much so. I have it myself. When under a lot of stress, I notice heaviness in my arms and legs almost as if I am pushing through quicksand or mud. It has to do with the muscles in an intense contraction state not allowing for the extremities to relax. My shoulders carry most of my stress as well as my neck which gets painful as well as stiff and heavy.
So yes, anxiety can really do a number on us.
You basically hit it right on the nail haha thank you again for your responses. They have been very helpful and I’m going to continue to do my best to relax and focus on exercises because that was usually my stess reliever.
That’s aniexty I feel lightheaded sometimes when I walk around but I have oxazepam 30 mg I take when I have aniexty works great but you have to watch it’s addictive. I don’t really feel it in the back mines in front at the top sometimes.
