Im a newbie here. I’ve been diagnosed with an IBS& chronic anxieties. I started taking alprazolam(only a quarter of the pill !) mostly every day . Helped me straight away .Felt relaxed and anxiety attacks dissapeared. I stop taking them when i tried a half of the pill. Had a paralysed nightmares and was hearing voices.
Now ,they prescribed me Citalopram but this is antidepressant drug? Any advise much appreciated. Thank you 🙏🏻

I take citalopram, it works but not as good as I would like it to. I'm only on a small dose. If you want rid of your IBS, eat fresh baby spinach leaves everyday and 2 to 3 bananas a day. And No more IBS. Its worked for me
Hi, thank you for your reply x How long you are on Citalopram and on what dose you are? I’m on 20mg , just wondering how quick i can see the results... Seems not that great
I'm only on 10mg and been on it 5 years, it takes approx 6 weeks to kick in, I may have to increase mine as getting a lot of irregular beats and waking up to a fluttering heart in the night. I am told its from anxiety although personally I think the physical symptoms I get cause my anxiety. I get the symptoms and then the anxiety but I guess thats the way it is for a lot of people. But deff the spinach and increase banana intake and your IBS will go
