For the last 10 years I have suffered with hot flashes and they cause me horrific anxiety, I feel like the whole world is crashing down on me, so I have to trap myself in my room. I’ve tried all kinds of medication and supplements and not to mention countless sessions of CBT, but nothing seems to be working
Is anyone out there going through the same thing or has done in the past cause I’m the only person I know that is affected by this
Need to talk to someone who actually understands

I had hot flushes for many years, they drove me mad at times. Like yourself I tried many different things to no avail, but something that did work for me was a cooling spray, Physicool. I’d previously tried a spray from Boots that hadn’t worked and then I bought this one. Every time I started to feel a hot flush coming on I sprayed it on the back of my neck and wrists, and it really did help to cool and calm. I noticed the flushes came less and less often and then stopped altogether. I bought three sprays, one for upstairs, one for downstairs and one in the car. I used it immediately I felt a hot flush coming and for me it worked 100%. Well worth a try, let me know how you get on.
Me!!!!! But I'm in surgically induced menopause. It's an understatement to say it is ruling and has ruined my life! Are you female and of menopausal age? xxxx
I also thought it could be a testosterone imbalance but I think that is normally for older men who have had androgen deprivation therapy for prostrate cancer.
Ah - I see you're 28! But - it is well worth speaking to your doctor to rule out hormonal causes, as well as thyroid. Bless you!! They're still disgusting aren't they, no matter the cause! Do you get a feeling of doom and panic before one? xxxxx
I have hot flashes almost everyday and panic goes with it. I hate it, my mind races and it's hard to control. But don't lock yourself in your room. That will make it worse. It's hard for me to even go to the store and I fucking hate it. Your not alone.
