Anxiety

Has anyone on here is on cymbalta or have taken it. I was prescribed that today and I’m very nervous to start taking them.

SaucedaM-1, the best thing you can do for yourself is to trust the doctor that prescribed your medication and to take it right away. The more you thing about it, the more anxiety builds. Do not read the pamphlets, do not google the med, do not ask someone else how they did on that med. We are all different in how we respond to medications. Having an open mind when starting a new prescription can give you a head start by the positive way of thinking. Good Luck to you. If you are nervous about taking the first pill, let someone know that you are about to take the Cymbalta, write down the time and dose you took and go on with your day. You will be fine. The doctor prescribed it with your health history in mind. It may be the best thing you've done in helping yourself go forward and heal. x
