From no where I began to feel short of breath, then tingly face, arms and feet, and I’ve gone all cold, I feel sick and blurry vision well not exactly blurred but don’t no how else to put it

Is this a panic attack? Hate this feeling 😔

Hi dizzychar, sure does sound like a panic attack. Start slowing down your breathing. Slowly inhaling and deeply exhaling...You are not in danger. It's just an uneasy feeling that will pass sooner if you can calm your mind. We are here with you on the forum... You will be okay.

If it helps, talk to us...xx

Thank you I will try that, just got to take the kids up to bed, just really scared me, been so long since I’ve felt this bad, kind of a shock and my mind doesn’t half run away with itself which makes things 10 times worse 🙄

How are u x x

dizzychar, once the children are in bed see if you can get onto YouTube and set aside 10 min in a nice comfy chair, cover yourself with a blanket , maybe even a hot drink to calm the inner nerves. Some of my favorite audio videos to calm down to are Michael Seeley Guided Meditation

or Sympathetic Breathing Meditation by Quiet Mind Café. Either one of those should help in calming your nervous system as well as reversing your symptoms back to normal.

You're never alone xx

Glad to hear you’re ok, I will have a look at that thank you. My best friend came round for a cuppa and I felt fine whilst talking to her, still got the tingly fingers though and a little on edge x x

Glad to hear that being distracted by your friend helped you. The tingly fingers and a little on edge can be remedied by readjusting your breathing. Shallow breathing or even holding your breath at times due to anxiety can cause you to feel like that.

You sound better.. xx
