Maybe it is the meds. I find that when I'm really tired and I keep waking up at night my heart races as well. It could be that too. Have you read the side effects of your meds?. Maybe you can refer your symptoms to your doctor for a different dosage or med to relieve your symptoms. Hope you feel better.
I would say that you need to change your thinking habbits. I have suffered from panic attacks for over 30 plus years. I've had every symptom known to man. IM me and we can chat on what has helped me. Open to chat
I still suffer from my heart racing at night...for some reason, and this may be just for me, I wake up from deep sleep and feel like I need to stretch and my heart starts to race...this used to put me into a panic state but now, since changing my thought pattern around my heart and health, I can calm my heart down pretty quickly...it is natural that your heart would speed up from being in a deep sleep. The only reason it becomes something else for you is because you tell yourself the story of it being a signal of something being wrong but it’s not, that’s just a story you tell because it’s what your brain is used to telling you...you’re still here, I’m still here...so it can’t be any of the things we keep panicking about now can it?
