Waking up in the middle of the night with my heart racing

Hi, I’m waking up out of a dead sleep every night with my heart racing. Takes me a while to calm down. Anyone else have this? Has anything helped? I’m so tired of this……exhausted.

I HATE this it happens quite often to me. No reason why I'm not even dreaming but it has me scared to go to sleep

Me too I’m so tired but I’m scared to go to sleep because I’m never sure when it’s going to happen. I finally got a pretty good sleep last night.

I had this kind of issues. Are you on any medication for anything ? I am on medication and it has stopped for some time now..Hope you get good sleep.

No I’m not on any medication. Do you mind me asking what kind of medication helped you?

I am on Ciprolax 10 mg . Talk to your dr. for any advice. if any medication will help.

Actually my doctor suggested the same medication but I’m scared to take it. How long did it take to work and did you have any side effects? Is 10 mg a starting dose for you? She suggested I start at 10 mg.
