Usually my temperature is 98.6 or a little less than that. Now it is 99.3 and I am feeling a lot of anxiety. I am really scared that I could have cancer, but my period is 2 days away. Could this temperature be from my hormones going crazy? I feel fine physically other than an upset stomach that I usually get a few days before my period. Idk I'm just scared. Can someone help?

You’re fine. It’s normal to have a slight temperature. Everytime I go to the doctor, I always have a slight temperature due to anxiety and being nervous. So that could be why you have a slight temp. I also do get a slight temp with my period as well as my stomach hurts. So you’re fine, no need to worry 😁
My temp is always over the “average” , temps change depending time of day. Mines usually highest between afternoon and early night. Also whenever I get my time of the month I feel hotter too. Also when I’m anxious I get a higher temp reading . Hope it eases your mind abit x
Same here the first few times it happen I must of taken my temperature every half hour than I started keeping track of it and it happens a couple of days before my period I get chills and it’s at 99. Hope this helps I too always think it’s cancer with everything
If your temp goes above 104 then you worry if its 98.6 thats the “normal” temp aka average
99.3 is like barely a fever you could have had blankets that were causing extra heat which made it higher
You could have taken it right after drinking hot cup of something or after a hot meal
Anxiety could increase temperature as well so if you want a correct reading relax yourself and then wait like 5 minutes before taking your temperature also do not engage in any kind of activity that will make you warm otherwise its not an accurate read
Stay perfectly still and be patient do not talk when you take your temp all these can alter a slight result
A fever is in 100 you are all goodie
Your basal body temperature goes up when you are ovulating. But your temp is not too high to worry about
