Has anyone had heart palpitations and can feel them in your neck/throat?

Weird feeling in my head, heart palpitations and lightheadedness.... Ugh I'm so over this :(
My palpitations are always in my throat that is where your main vein is that’s why you can feel them there.
I had a panic attack today thinking something bad was going to happen to me as I haven't had this before. I have never experienced heart palpitations. Could you please describe your feelings you get please?
I’ve had palpitations on and off for the last four months, it feels like my heart has stopped for a second and then a jump in my throat it’s weird but I know palpitations are harmless and not dangerous just a premature beat which takes longer the second time to beat causing them. Most people have them it’s only us with anxiety that notice them.
I didn't realise most people have them thank you for pointing that out x
Yeah I go days without them then when I am stressed or feeling anxious they come back, had a good couple days without them so far.
I feel for you as its not a nice feeling at all. I Sam seeing my doctor on Monday as I need to make sure it is just anxiety and nothing else. That will then reassure me.
No it’s a horrible feeling I have seen my doctor and hospital many times over the last few months and I convince myself if it was serious and not just anxiety I either would be in hospital poorly if something was wrong with my heart or dead and I’m not I’m fine and they would of found it in that time.
Very true so that's why I will get mine checked out thoroughly to be sure then I won't worry about it like I do
I’ve been having palpitations for weeks on and of suffering with low mood and social anxiety I’m currently on 20mg of Citalopram this is week one side affects have been horrible but I’m determined to stick with it and I must point out the palpitations have more or less stopped
Yes! I'm dealing with this right now. My dad passed away two weeks ago and the "pvcs" started a few hours after. I'm currently waiting on holter monitor results and have an echo appointment next week to rule out heart issues. My blood work is all normal and during an er visit they diagnosed me with benign pvcs. They are scary. I feel them in my throat. My dr thinks they are associated with my dads passing and i already have pretty bad health anxiety as it is. I'm wondering if an Ativan would help with them. Anyone try that before?
Thank you for your reply it's terrible and yes I feel them in my throat I thought something bad was going to Galen then I had a horrible panic attack.
I am sorry about your dad, my serious anxiety started when my dad passed, I got double vision a couple of times and low blood pressure and a slow heart beat. I always had pretty bad anxiety and had pvc's for years. This time my anxiety seemed totally different, so I didn't believe it was. I had an mri and lots of blood work done. I had an echo done and they incidentally found a thyroid nodule, so I started stressing about that thinking it might be cancer. Stress can do a number on our nervous system and our bodies. Have a good Thanksgviing and hope things get better.
