blood pressure spikes?

Hey guys so i have been dealing with anxiety and 2 days ago i stressed myself out with bills and other stuff ..the next day i had headache alllll day..today again.so far headache from the time i woke up till now...ive never had high blood pressure..checked my pressure and its been ranging from systolic 140-150 / diastolic normal ...i take a few breaths and it goes down to normal..now im anxious about my blood pressure..any tips?..anybody else get this...what causes this..can stress do this?

Ahuesca, Stress can do quite a number on our body including blood pressure spikes. When under stress the blood vessels tighten causing b/p to spike as well as getting a tension headache. Taking a deep breathe showed you that it can reflect in your blood pressure going to normal. Don't add more anxiety to your stress by worrying about blood pressure. You need to find some quiet time each day, first thing in morning as well as afternoon and evening if necessary.

A time to meditate and deep breathe for 10 minutes or so. It will calm down your body as well as the worried mind. Chest pain and shortness of breath should be addressed by your doctor. They can be a sign of your immense stress but needs to be checked out. Have doctor also do a blood pressure check. You need to start letting go of the stressors in your life before the headaches will go away. Tension headaches are just a way of your body telling you, you need to CHILL. Take it easy.

ive been monitoring my pressure and its been normal but still with the headaches..just need to calm down and chill out..thanks again!
