Hello guys... I have a few things to run by you. I have been dealing with wierd feelings in both my arms. Its kind of difficult to explain but it feels like a achy and tingly sensation. My fingers also feel tingly. Another issue I have is panic attacks in a hit shower. I find myself rushing to get out because I feel shortness of breath and dizzy as if I will pass out. Anybody felt like this before?

Wierd feeling in arms
Yes I have been going through that for weeks it's a tingling burning sensation that I get and sometimes they feel weak like they're not attached if that makes sense
Yes that makes sense. Has there anything you have tried that helps a bit?
The doctor say it's tension and now I just switched to a new medication and I feel like it's happening all over and worse again so I don't know it comes and goes when I'm distracted I don't even notice it.
LexiJaye23, Everything you have described sounds like a classic case of hyperventilating/over breathing. When you shallow breathe it causes the tingling sensation in your extremities. When in the shower you are probably holding your breath out of fear of this feeling coming over you and so it does. Many anxious people get this fear and sensation while showering. It has to do with feeling vulnerable while in the shower, subconsciously worrying that you wouldn't be able to escape if you had to being in a compromising position. You get tense immediately upon starting your shower that within moments you start to experience shortness of breath (from holding your breath) as well as dizziness (from not breathing properly)
To counteract these symptoms before they start, implement deep slow breathing before you get into the shower and during your shower. This will allow the oxygen to flow freely throughout your body and cut short the weird sensations. Practice proper deep breathing each day. YouTube has great short videos on relaxation / deep breathing with audio. Once you master deep breathing it is with you at all times and you will no longer experience these sensations. My best.x
