Hi Mpa5524, That's the way to do it when feeling overwhelmed with medical issues. Make a list. As each issue is addressed, so is another one checked off your list. I'm glad the Lyme test was negative...Vit b12 no biggie solved by taking a supplement.
As for the Carpal Tunnel and Ulnar Nerve, have lived with that for 30 years or so. It can be addressed in different ways depending on your doctor's advice as well as your choice. Good Luck Tuesday with the Neurologist appointment. You are doing a great job in taking care of each and every problem. It helps reduce anxiety in the long run believe me x
ive been at my computer job for over 16 years and the symptomns are so bad now to the point its so difficult to work but I have to, I just want it fixed lol, my fault it let it go for so long, but i've always put others before me and now look lol.
Oh do I hear you... People I knew who were diagnosed w/Carpal Tunnel years ago like me and had it taken care of and are living without the zing of electrical pain and numbness from not getting it addressed.
Like you, too busy raising a foster child that I didn't take care of my hands.
Now with typing all day on the forum, I'm once again feeling the numbness
and may go back to wearing my night hand braces to relieve that ulnar nerve pressure. So I applaud you in taking care of it NOW... xxx Let us know how it goes next Tuesday
How about the Vitamin D? That's usually another biggy. ...and Magnesium. I've been taking 5000 units of Vitamin D daily, it's the new fad.
vitamin d has been low for some time, i take 1000mg a day
is it mg or UI? 1000mg of vitamin D is like 50000UI like that's a clinical doseage.
haaaa Vitamin D3 1000 IU dont mind me its been a long day
Get the 5k in order to maintain a good vitamin D level and take it with chaleted magnesium for absorption.
i just took the vitamin d and at night i take the magn chaleted is that good or do i take it together
please take a look at the PAS forum on HU.
Unless you are a vegan or eat very little meat/fish/dairy/egg then your deficiency isn't dietary but an absorption problem and oral supplements may not work

Getting the correct treatment for a B12 deficiency can be quite difficult.
So happy your test results were negative!! Vitamin D supplement is no biggie (it's in my pile every night). One thing at a time is the best way to handle things so you're not overwhelmed. You got this! Good luck and let us know how you're doing.
