Why would your friends have to know? Jot it on a notepad in your phone. They’ll think you’re texting.

You don't actually have to carry anything around. If you don't have a memory issue, summarize your day at home. The amount you write on certain days versus others and just the look of your actual writing can tell a therapist a good deal.

I have memory issues due to an accident but manage a few lines every day. Think you might want to try to do this even with your memory issues.

Journalling (men and woment do it) is best done at night to reflect on the day past and plan for tomorrow. It's about putting away problems so they don't bother you at night. The activity is useful for the therapist to see what happened in real time rather trying to recall at a therapy session.

Using you journal, you can put in sleep details as well your appointments, medication changes and the amounts of exercise you did to track your progress.

It takes a while to get used to doing this regularly. Remember this is a private place for you and your therapist to share.

Yeah he basically want me to writeabout my whole day. I downloaded a journal on my phone that way it would be easier

How will the therapist read your phone journal? Glad this was a way for you keep a journal, but are you going to transfer it to another device so the therapist has a record to compare with what is recorded from the last session and future sessions?

I can just email him the pages from my phone. He agreed as long as i write
