so a littlr history of me, i originally sufferrd anxiety about 2 years ago, suffered attacks , basic symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest pain, fear, visits to e.rs to hear the same thing over that everything was fine. Anxiety took over me drastically since it was something new to me so took me a bit time to "overcome it" i was able to by mentally telling myself it was ok and continuous weightlifting.Long story short overcame it naturally with exercise without antidepressents or meds. Took OCASSIONALY xanax here and there for random moments when i was extremely anxious but stopped taking them as well. Anxiety pretty much "left" as in i was able to go by day by day without symptoms or worries.
Fastforward to present, last couple months ive been going through a great deal of stress, and working night shifts with up to 3 hours of sleep a day, i was also taking supplements for workong out "pre workouts" . Recently last couple weeks i started feeling lightheaded and slight diziness everyday to where it gradually has been a bit worse where im now anxious, i feel foggy, sometimes out of it, always in fear thinking im going to pass out or fall, my legs feel weak sometimes or tingly, sometimes i have pressure in head, and just sweatingg. It comes and goes throughout the day, usually happens more when im on my feet( although i dont even know if just overthinking it triggers it), at night time it leaves but during the day it comes to where im just worried all the time if its normal, went to the e. R (all tests came back normal, blood and heart, had a doctor appointment and he said i shouldnt worry bout my head since i asked him of i could have something in my brain(another fear ive been heaving),
Now ive just been scared beacuse ive never had these sympoms ever and its scary knowing it happens or if its going to happen,
My question is, if this is anxiety can it actually cause such extreme symptoms to where it feels like your going to die or fall or feeling of weakness?

It seems that your particular brand of anxiety is a reaction to the stress. Whether in good times or bad, most people say that stress interferes at least moderately with their lives.
Chronic stress can affect your health, e.g. causing physical symptoms from headaches, high blood pressure, and chest pain to heart palpitations, skin rashes, and loss of sleep and the emotional symptoms you described.
Since all the tests ordered by your doctor have come back all clear then it's a safe bet that it is all anxiety related. You need to TRUST this information and your doctor's advice.
The psychological safety net that worked for you 2 years ago is very likely to work again. Go back to what works best. If something is not working don't be afraid to try something else.
Remember that it's okay to ask for extra help from a psychologist to get through as well.
If your workplace has an employee assistance program (EAP) definitely make the call for a free and confidential session or two.
Yes causes very severe physical symptoms.the feeling are horrendous I ended up at hospital thinking I had a heart attack and it was a panic attack stayed there 12 hours and all tests normal.im a nurse never thought anxiety made you suffer so much is awful, try and accept it and work through it if you can.take care 🤗
Hi I have had every single symptom you have explained and it can be terrifying. Constantly convince myself there is something wrong with my health but there never is. It's scary to think anxiety can cause such crazy physical symptoms but it truly can. Deep breaths, positive thoughts, you will get through it!
Hi , yes anxiety can make you feel that way. But you can learn to lessen your anxiety and live a joyful life. I am living proof of it. Years ago I had the lightheaded and spaced out feeling with tight chest. I found a bible based psychotherapist, Pauline Holmes, PhD, who counseled me. She saud that what I was feeling was called “derealization.” It’s a feeling like you are not really there, a spaced out feeling. Well, today her audio programs are available to download and listen to For FREE from her web site at graceandsanity.org .
When you are at the website, click on “Our Web Radio Station” from the top of the menu. You will then see many topics including the “Fear” Series. Listen to the Fear series to begin with. It will help yuh understand what you are feeling and help deal with and lessen your anxiety. May the materials on that website be a blessing you. Take care of yourself. Eat healthy, drink water, fresh air, rest too. God bless you. Live a joyful life .
