Afraid I’m going to die

I’ve had a cold recently but now I just have a low grade fever and I’m afraid it’s some horrible disease like cancer and that I’m going to die because of having the fever...I just took some ibuprofen but now I’m worried that it won’t work or that I’m going to get a reaction from it

I’m also afraid that since I’ve had bad anxiety since February that I’ve worn my body out so much that I’ve made myself get a horribly disease and that I’ll die

Can someone please help I’ve been feeling so scared

This is very similar to my feelings. It is a terrible way to feel. I sympathize. Probably what is wrong is that the cold has led to a side infection, such as sinusitis, bronchitis, ear infection, etc. None of these are serious and can all be easily treated. You should definitely see a doctor for treatment and also, importantly, to ease your anxiety.

This is health anxiety and believe me I feel your pain. I went through a rough patch where all I kept thinking was I was dying or going to have a heart attack or fall over dead or stop breathing etc... but after 10 months I'm still here our minds are basically playing tricks on us . You'll be fine sweety . No big deal . Try and find things that make you happy and get out and do them. Try and lower your stress levels . It will all work out in the end .
