Hi everyone. After getting some blood work done my Dr advised me I have very low iron levels and B12 levels. She gave me the B12 injection and would like to do the iron one tomorrow. I've been reading terrifying things about the side effects to iron injection. Has anyone ever received one? I tend to be side effect sensitive.

Hi! My iron was low & my doctor prescribed me iron tablets, I'm on them every day.

Hi Sammy5504. Thanks for your reply. Did your Dr give you a choice between an injection or supplements? I only ask because I think they only offer the injection if it's extremely low. My body seems to not absorb iron properly. Have you noticed a difference by just the supplements?
