I'm having jaw tightness, chest pain and trouble breathing I'm also very hot and sweaty should I go to the E.R? I've been told by them before that it was I known and that it may be anxiety but idk I haven't seen a cardiologist yet and I'm really scared at this point

Have you got anxiety medication?

in reply toFfaiers

Hydroxyzine but I stopped taking it about a week ago because it made my symptoms worse.

Ok it sounds like you are having an anxiety attack & it could be due to stopping your meds. Talk to me it'll distract you x

The jaw tightness has gone but I still feel the tingling there as well as on my chest and I'm tremoring, I tried breathing in and out but I'm still worried

Keep doing the same darling, you are fine I promise. Close your eyes whilst you are doing your breathing. You've had all these feelings before & they don't last. Keep talking to me x

Sweating is because of the anxiety darling I promise. Neck pain is probably from holding yourself stiff. Let's change the subject, tell me about yourself. What age are you, where are you from etc? Stop thinking about anxiety x

It all started after I ate I felt anxious the chest pain and nausea layed down for q bit and that's when it took off

That's because you homed in on your feelings instead of just getting on with things. I do the same darling, it will pass & if you felt anxious I'm 99% sure it is an anxiety attack. You need to distract yourself & you're doing well by talking to me, well done you are nearly through it I promise x

That's a really rewarding job, I used to do that myself. Trust me it's busy & anxiety won't cross your mind 😀 I think it's great you are doing something to support your studies. It sounds to me like you are very hard on yourself when I think you're doing amazing! X

I'm struggling with my anxiety but today is one of the hopeful days . So I'm trying g to stay calm and positive . But it is Indeed challenging. Because my mind keeps wanting to slip back into my depersonalized state I can feel it try to creep in and it's soooo annoying and it makes me mad. But I'm I. A constant battle with my mind and trying to accept that I have anxiety . Still feels surreal to me .
