Which do you find better Ativan or xanax ?

I take Ativan off and on for a few years . It just doesn't seem to work as good anymore. What do you guys take ? How does it work for you ? I hear a lot of good things about xanax , some say klonopin .

Hi - I take ativan. I find, however that if you take it on a continuing basis, it tends to lose its effect and potency and you need a higher dose to get the same result. This scares me as I am very afraid of becoming addicted. I try not to take it every day and even skip more than 1 day if possible. I just wish there were a completely non-addictive drug that had the same effect as ativan. I feel like a normal person when I take it and see things much more realistically. I don't know much about xanax, but I think Klonopin may be stronger. Probably best to discuss with your doctor.
