Does anyone else get frequent headaches? Mine is on going tension headaches, I don't get them all day consistently but it's most of the day and I find when I forget it, it goes away but of course it comes back when I remember it. They're mainly at the top and at the back of my head and the temples it's not painful just irritating and feels heavy then now and again I get sharp pains randomly anywhere on my head. Can stress really do this to you?

fionaleung21, Stress can and does cause on going tension headaches. They kind of flow on into another, never giving you full relief. The same symptoms you have described. The tightness, the feeling of a band around your head. It is very wearing mentally. Finding methods to use that relax the mind and body help. Reaching for the OTC pain pills does not for chronic pain.
Try starting some meditation time daily. Practice until it is perfect. Deep breathing is another body relaxation technique. Find ways to take time out of your day just for you. Five to ten minutes can make a big difference. An escape from anxiety. Feel better x
Thank you Agora, its awful i keep putting myself into this cycle.. i can be headache free for weeks and realise ''ok see I'm fine i can't possibly have a brain tumour'' but when i have a headache the feelings of doom and i have a brain tumour awful feelings come back, and I guess i stress myself to the point that my headaches never relieve because I'm constantly stressing and i see myself explaining perfectly well to you why these headaches are happening but these irrational thoughts keep happening that it could be something else. so disappointed in myself really
