I recently got over a bout of positional vertigo but still feel off balance all the time and like I am moving when the car stops.
My doctor had suggested that now it is chronic subjective dizziness and not true vertigo. Can anxiety and checking in cause off balance, "on a boat" sensation and just feeling like I am not grounded?

I have been feeling really dizzy lately and feels like I'm seeing double vision cos of the dizziness and it's making me have nausea. I've had my ears checked and my eyes tested and everything normal but docs say I have vertigo. I've never ever suffered with vertigo in my life. Did they prescribe u medication for the vertigo and if so, what did they prescribe? I've been prescribed cinnarizine but I'm terrified of any kind of tablet now but I can't deal with this dizziness. It's getting me down cos it's making normal everyday things so hard to do cos it makes me feel that sick
