After spending the last two days in bed with crimpling anxiety i went out just for a run in my partners car. Ive never had anxiety going out in his car before but today i did, i tried to accept i was panicking and did deep breathing exercises which helped alot and took away the nausea feeling. I pushed all the negatives out of my head and by the time we arrived back home i was feeling a bit nervous but calmer. I had a diazepam in my back pocket but never used it.
I want to know is deep breathing just another way of fighting it? I dont know if im doing things right or wrong, i just want to get better.
I started sertraline 4 days ago and i think this has hightened my anxiety somewhat.
