Hi. My 3 year old died suddenly and unexpectedly last year and now i am left with low self esteem. No ambition and my life is falling apart.
I tried to stay on at work and even took a challenging job with children. But now i have been off work for 5 weeks and am overwhelmed with anxiety and thinking about going back tomorrow.

So sorry for your loss! I can't imagine what it's like Try the panicaway program! They have a book and even have support groups on Facebook if you're connected. It will help you cope and recover! God bless
Hi Ev33 so sorry for your loss no wonder you feel so bad but don't go back to work until you are feeling better.have you any medication to help you with the anxiety ? You will get better with the right help but you must ask for it.
Hi Ev33, Firstly I am so sorry for your loss it must be devastating losing a child so young.
My wife died in January this year after 20 years of marriage and I felt very lost and alone.
However Cruse Bereavement Care helped me, I have been having 1 to 1 counselling and they put me onto a local social group which has helped me back from absolute despair. I never thought you could die from loneliness but at times it felt as though I was. But over time things improve, there is no right or wrong way i think we all must grieve in whatever way suits us.
I am joining the Cruse committee and have found some other interests as well so things can and do get better.
You never get over the loss but you come to accept it and the bad memories get less and the good ones start to shine through.
Please, give yourself time to grieve and be kind to yourself and I know you will get there.
I sincerely hope what i have said helps in some way.
