Hi I went to the docs yesterday about my freckle again for the second time and he told me it was fine. It has stretched as my boobs stretched due to pregnancy and one else had this

And ?

Zobro in reply to

still worried as it looks different but it's only because the skins stretched. I just cannot forget it

in reply toZobro

Ask to be referred to a dermatologist then to reassure yourself.

Zobro profile image
Zobro in reply to

He said there would be no point referring me as there's nothing wrong and then a month after that I would worry again

No mine is not like that. I think my boobs got huge during pregnancy and now they r not its become stretched. It's not raised or itchy. It's got jagged borders but two docs say it's ok

in reply toZobro

Go into Leeds General and just say it's hurting, they will check it all out. Only way to get it done really

Would you worry if two docs say it's fine

in reply toZobro

Well depends really. I doctor told me i had anxiety when actually had an illness and a locum spotted it.

Maybe I should try magnesium! I have fluoxetine but don't wanna take it I been suffering dream like feelings and dizziness for months now

in reply toZobro

Magnesium is VERY good for depression and anxiety, maybe you should give it a go.

Zobro profile image
Zobro in reply to

Does it have side effects lol

in reply toZobro

Sleepy sometimes, can have the runs but Magnesium glycinate not so. It makes you very relaxed and lifts your mood within an HR. Makes you sleep very well.

I always sleep well wish I could sleep more but I have a baby xx

in reply toZobro

I have included a link of a very good brand. Other women on here take it after I suggested it, you ask them.

Hi I have just started taking it and vitamin B complex, I am hoping it will help me too, I feel a bit dozey today though lol xx

in reply toMumof347

You will, it takes time to adjust. Lower the dose if you can. Maybe split the pill in half or quarter. It takes time for your body to adjust to the new intake of something it been needing for a while.

Ok sounds like a plan, I need something to lift my mood, been down for far too long

in reply toMumof347

What Magnesium do you have ?.

Mumof347 profile image
Mumof347 in reply to

I have Holland and Barratt

Mumof347 profile image
Mumof347 in reply toMumof347

250 mg

in reply toMumof347

On ingredients does it say, citrate, glycinate or oxide?.

I would take half maybe quarter if you can.

Mumof347 profile image
Mumof347 in reply to

Magnesium oxide, not any of the other 2 ingredients, is a 250 mg too much

in reply toMumof347

You've bought the worst kind. That won't help with anxiety and depression much, it had to be glycinate.

The Magnesium in oxide is poorly absorbed and is the worst kind you can buy, and the cheapest ( cough ). You want the one in the link. You won't find your depression and anxiety lift half as much as you would with glycinate.

Take half a tablet at night, it won't help your nerves that much but you'll get some health benefits from it, a small amount that is.

Sure you didn't glance at the shop sign and saw Holland and Barrett when it actually said Poundland ?.

Oh great, more money then lol, I don't have a pill cutter

in reply toMumof347

You could still take one but it won't get you far, maybe the runs a little. I would take it at night :-)

I have had these a week and had no ill effects so far

in reply toMumof347

Yeah because they're not very good. Get ya money spent on a decent brand

in reply toMumof347

Buy the one in the link, it's one of the best.

Mumof347 profile image
Mumof347 in reply to

I will have a look

in reply toMumof347

Poundland actually sell Magnesium oxide, try there next time. How much did H&B charge for them.

Mumof347 profile image
Mumof347 in reply to

Oh ok I thought you was joking lol. I paid £6.99 for a 100 and got another pot for a penny

in reply toMumof347

You got a good deal on the penny one, not so on the £6.99. Bloody ripped off merchants. Leave a review on the site saying these are oxide and low quality !!.

Try Poundland.

Mumof347 profile image
Mumof347 in reply to

I had a look on that link you said about and it says take 4 a day which means they won't last that long and are similar price ??

in reply toMumof347

Yeah it says take 4 a day at 100mg each. I've been buying them for ages and i only take 1a day and it's enough for me. You get 120 which lasts me 5 months.

Mumof347 profile image
Mumof347 in reply to

Ok that's good, how does it help you

in reply toMumof347

Lifts my mood alot and eases my anxiety plus helps me sleep. If i don't take it i get this negative voice in my head and everything is going to be bad then anxiety attacks start. Keeps it all at bay.

Well worth £7 !!

Mumof347 profile image
Mumof347 in reply to

That is positive, I need that feeling

in reply toMumof347

Get it bought woman !!!

Mumof347 profile image
Mumof347 in reply to

Lol I already have the others to use up first

in reply toMumof347

Well you obviously don't need that feeling that bad do ya !!

When you stop paying locums and stop paying thousands of managers a absolute fortune in wages then talk about the NHS and funding. People pay their contributions and expect to be seen if needed. Plenty of people who work for the NHS freeload from it.

Zobro profile image
Zobro

What do you work as. You had me looking up skin cancer getting worried ! As I said mine does have jagged edges but loads do I guess

First off you are wrong it's £150 a year even if they don't see a patient in that year because I also work in the NHS for a group of GP's.

Oh I see free loaders, plenty of nurses in the surgery leaving to go locum. Spanish, American and Indian doctors earning £3,000 for six days work. GP's earning £100k. Then there's the pharmacy and rental of the building. Don't worry you never see a poor doctor do you or nurse come to that.

If you are really concerned pay to get a specialist check, then you can rest assured.

You know why, pay !!

Greed ! Canada and Australia the destination of choice where GPs can earn 5 times as much there because their system is different.

It would be in much less a crisis if you stop believing in the liberal idea and put a stop to waste in the NHS, and don't say it doesn't go in because I see it.

It may be under funded but as they say; you need to sort your own garden out first !
