Stay strong, these feelings take time to get over, and yes of course I felt the the same way too today, But I'm not going to just give up no matter what. Stay strong ok.

I am feeling the same 3 weeks into fluoxetine and I feel bloody AWFUL! I've taken them in the past though and they helped loads so just need to get over this hill! Z

It's just so hard. I know it didn't happen overnight and isn't gonna disappear overnight. The cure seems worse than problem at this point. 😩 the burning in my chest is the worse symptom I have.

I think you should call your doctor's office and let them know you're experiencing dizziness with Prozac. Maybe the dosage needs to be adjusted.

Dizziness is much better. Feeling better today. Just still can't get motivated in the morning....afternoons are much better.

Dr Claire Weekes book, Hope and Help for Your Nerves, is an excellent and easy to read book. I think it's published under a different title outside the United States. It was written almost 50 years ago but her advice has helped so many suffering from anxiety. Check out the reviews on Amazon. Warm wishes that you will be feeling better soon! 🌹

CSusan, I'm reading it now for the umpteenth time. It's not only reassuring but each time I pick up something I hadn't seen before. Great book. x

Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD offers a stress reduction program at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. Patients are referred to his program by their doctors. The program teaches "mindfulness" that is, accepting things as they are and not how we want them to be. He's written several books on the relationship between the mind, body, and stress. One of his books, Full Catastrophe Living, discusses his stress reduction program at the medical center. He also has a series of CDs (4), Guided Mindfulness Meditation, which I find very helpful. The body scan meditation CD is my favorite; it is so relaxing! I ordered my book and CDs from Amazon.
