SIBO ( small intestinal bacterial overgrowth)

Hi, just looking for a bit of advice really. I've been constipated for about 6 months now and I am suffering with other symptoms aswell coz as constipation, like frequent headaches and sinus issues. AND I've Done some research and I think I couldn't have SIBO. I will try and go to the doctors and get a referral so I can get tested. I don't know wether it's just that my yh it bacteria are slightly mucked up, or wether it's more serious like SIBO! I know one of the main symptoms of SIBO is bloating, and I don't get it that often but i do get it sometimes, and my abdomen always hurts a bit when I press all around!

Sorry to hear you are suffering at the moment , Google however is the worse thing you can go looking at when you have anxiety because we will diagnose ourselves and come up with the worse scenario that normally is never reality

I think you should get to your Doctors as soon as you can , this could be something very simple but again Google cannot examine you but your Doctor can and they will soon sort you out

Look up Bircher cereal. Soak 1 measure of jumbo porridge oats with the same amount of apple juice. Throw in a few sultanas and raisins and 2 tablespoons of Avoid sugar unless it is naturally in something - like apple juice. Better than any chemical your doc might prescribe.

Hi did u manage to ask the docs to be tested for SIBO? I'm going to try next week as feel this is causing my IBS too x
