Energy levels

As you all know anxiety can suck the life out of you. I was wondering what I can do to get my energy levels up without stimulants such as coffee or energy drinks as they trigger my anxiety? I haven't tried natural supplements as I'm afraid they will do the same, are there natural supplements that will boost my energy without triggering my anxiety?

Hi Aazz, the most natural supplement that you can use is EXERCISE... It will not only lift your energy levels but your endorphin levels as well. Of course, always get your doctor's approval before starting any exercise. (whatever it may be) Feel good by exercise, proper diet and hydration.

Aazz, first of all as Steap suggests, checking out your no energy level with a doctor and lab tests might be warranted. If everything is okay, know that not being active produces lethargy. As you start moving slowly, you will start feeling better. But first things first.

B12 levels are really important as low b12 causes fatigue as well as effecting mental health too.

It's really important not to take suppliments though until you've had your levels tested and gotten the results back.

I can't wait till people start to realise that anxiety is just a serious illness as alcoholism or drug addiction or Food Addiction or anorexia it's just a serious anxiety can actually be more serious to your life than any of the above I just think that people of being shamed by the word anxiety or depression oh my personal opinion is it doesn't more harm the drug addiction to your body because your friend to go out you change your life completely it it puts you in a place where you feel ashamed and you feel uncared for and you feel that nobody takes it seriously but it is a very serious think it can have thought processes that can cause you to do harm to yourself it can have you so depressed that you don't love you like that you go against people that love you so to anyone out there who doesn't take anxiety serious or thinks that's it's a hypochondriac sea or anything like that it's not having anxiety is a very just a series as any other physical mental emotional illness and you'll be taken just a serious it affects people's lives everyday of people's lives and hopefully schools doctors will start to train ons how to deal with having anxiety as it's an everyday thing and maybe if we start explaining it to us when we are younger than maybe as we turn into adults we can see the symptoms and learn more rather than be ashamed that's my opinion anyway I have autism and learning difficulties so I don't understand when my body goes through anxiety or when I'm depressed it's not until my social workers or carers see the way I behave but my opinion is people it's so easy to call anxiety or it's just anxiety but anxiety and paralysed you from living everyday it to input you in a position where you can push everyone Your Love Away it can destroy a human being so my opinion that's just too serious as someone who takes drugs alcohol Food Addiction and should be treated the same way and people should not be ashamed of what they've got if you've got anxiety or depression then you should be treated just exactly the same as anyone else who's ill it is an illness that's my opinion with someone with autism and learning difficulties thanks for reading I hope it helps
